A little about me and how the dream of opening a bridal boutique began..

I’ve always had a creative flair for design and have finally achieved my life-long ambition to open my own bridal boutique!  

​

From a young age I had always wanted to own my own little boutique.

I have such passion for providing excellent service to my customers and making them feel extra special!

​

One very important person in my life was my late Nana. She was an extremely talented seamstress and artist but she never actually pursued a career in either field as she had always put her family first. She gave me so much inspiration and love to fulfil my dreams. I will always think of her every step of the way in this journey of mine. And I wouldn't be the woman I am today if it wasn't for her incredible support and encouragement.

After completing Art & Design at college I continued to successfully achieve a degree in Fashion Design at Lincoln University. I have gained many years’ experience in retail and especially the bridal industry. Learning how many different styles of bridal businesses worked. Receiving such joy from brides when I really went the extra mile for them, so I learned very quickly how I would want run my own bridal boutique.

After a very difficult year in 2020, due to Covid-19 and personal circumstances, it made me realise how life is so short and we only live once.

I’m incredibly excited to be working alongside some of the top designers to produce my own unique capsule collection of beautiful wedding gowns and accessories. Which have been carefully selected by myself to make sure every item is not only made to a high standard but comfortable for real women to wear!

I feel really passionate about styling, design and the attention to detail that goes into every wedding gown. I fully understand the experience of a personalised service and how important your wedding gown is to you, so I can provide expert advice to help you every step of the way to select the wedding gown of your dreams! 

​

Very proud to have won multiple awards including 'Best Bridal store Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire' for 2022 and 2023 from Muddy Stilettos. 

 And most recently, 'East Midlands Bridal retailer of the year 2024' from the Wedding Industry awards. 

​

As a passionate artist, I’ve also been renowned for providing unique bridal illustrations as a special memento for a bride on her wedding day. This is a special touch which I will continue to provide as a unique perspective of the ultimate bridal experience to capture a special moment to cherish forever! 

​

Not to forget my two miniature dachshunds, Macy & Alfie! They really are my little team, they will be here at the boutique from time to time - more likely in the window if you can spot them when you walk by!
