“That’s Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi… to you. Some gowns simply make demands — and this one demanded nothing less than to be crowned queen. I was originally envisioning her in blush, but when the lavender sample arrived, I was taken aback by its quiet, almost regal beauty. The full ballgown shape and strategic pleating are designed to flatter the waistline, adding just enough sartorial seduction to a commanding silhouette. The chunky rhinestone accents at the bodice and straps were the final touch — she invites you to take your place, commands the room, and reminds you that being queen was never a question.”

“The Light You Keep pays homage to one of my most iconic designs — affectionately nicknamed the Banksy gown — with its mosaic floral appliqué and layered ballgown silhouette. Much like Banksy’s art, she makes her statement quietly at first, but impossible to ignore once you see her: a kind of beautiful rebellion wrapped in softness. Orchideous beaded and embroidered tulle ballgown with ivory floral embellishment, plunging V-neckline framed in rhinestone trim, and side cutouts. A-line skirt in orchideous tulle with a subtle dégradé effect and dimensional embroidery. Also shown in Lumos - a multi-colored beaded and embroidered variation - and available in six spellbinding colorways. With matching veil.

“Wingardium was always meant to feel like a spell well-cast — weightless yet powerful, luminous yet etheral. The dimensional floral embroidery creates an almost levitating effect over the tulle, and the subtle dégradéshading at the hem gives her just the right amount of enchantment....and shall we say leviosa? I knew she needed a plunging front neckline for added spectacle, edged in delicate rhinestone trim (a favorite detail that came to life in designing for the ever gorgeous Lauren Luyendyk)— it frames the face and elongates the line beautifully while catching the light like a flick of a wand. She’s also a rare kind of chameleon, offered in four distinct color stories, including the multi-hued Lumos variation, which splashes soft color like magic mid-air. A gown that’s at once airy and arresting — exactly as a spell should be.”
